I am contacting you because I thought you might be interested in joining the writing competition called TH!NK ABOUT IT.
The European Journalism Centre ejc.net) has organised an international blogging competition called TH!NK5:Water (water.thinkaboutit.eu). This is the fifth edition of our blogging competition and focuses on topics related to “water”. The competition is open until 22 March 2011 (World Water Day).
Since this is a writing competition, there is also a prize to be won. In total, 20 winners will be selected from the following countries: EU27 member states, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey, Iceland, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, and Kosovo. The European Commission will sponsor the prize for these countries. Two other winners will be selected from the remaining countries not mentioned above and will be sponsored by the EJC. The winners will be given a once in a lifetime chance to go on a reporting trip to Portugal in the Spring.
To participate in this competition, all you have to do is sign up here (https://ejcnet.wufoo.com/forms/thnk5-water/), submit one blog post related to water along with an accompanying feature picture, and then, once you receive your login details you just have to sign in and start blogging.
You can cross-post what you have already published on your personal blog on to the TH!NK5 competition platform.
